The GLI Commercial / Industrial UV Water Purifiers provide disinfection solutions for small water flows as well as large water management projects. Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection is a proven, dependable and effective method for controlling and eradicating microorganisms present in the water source. UV radiation in the 200-300 nanometer (nm) range is extremely effective in killing microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, yeasts and molds. UV light in this range targets the bacterial and viral DNA of water contaminants. Exposure to UV prevents the microorganisms from being able to reproduce and cells that cannot reproduce are considered dead.

Twenty-five years of UV disinfection experience is packed into the GLI UV Water Purifier. Designed for superior disinfection performance by providing a minimum 30,000 µW/sec/cm² UV dose at rated flow, WEDECO engineers developed the GLI Series from the ground up by focusing on the three critical elements for UV system performance: the UV lamp, the power supply/controls and the engineered vessel.
